hi,
i need help with making a plot (what ever u think work) that will show the change in a physical variable (temp, sal, etc) depending on ,months.
i have data from WOD and its from the 50's till today, and i need the ODV to show me all this data according to months and not considering the years (summerize all data from each month,and show all the months in the same plot) , and ONLY in 20 meter depth..
can ODV do it?? and if so, how? does anyone knows?

Hi Motti,
Yes, ODV can.
To do so, open the 'Derived Variables' dialog and add the derived variable 'Month of Year (station date)'. Then, create a SCATTER window that shows 'Month of Year (station date)' on the x-axis and whatever variable you want on y.
To only show values where depth equals 20 meters, open the 'Sample Selection Criteria' dialog and define a range filter for depth.
